Am I skinny yet?

So after an uneventful night and a morning run, it was time to give breakfast a try. Now I’m not much of a breakfast person (4 coffees usually do the trick) but after reading about delayed emptying I thought I should. In classic diet food fashion Greek Yogurt and a banana seemed on brand.

A few bites in and I didn’t notice very much. Maybe a little bit of blunted enjoyment compared to normal. I ate the banana and stopped after a few bites of yogurt to give it time to settle.

What I can say is that I do think ever so slightly it sat in my stomach longer, and maybe there were a few extra banana burps, but otherwise it was uneventful. Which actually makes sense – most people don’t notice a ton of effect on the starter doses. I think taking the first dose last night at bedtime helped. So for now it’s calorie counting and cutting back on the snacks. It’s officially diet time (for the 4000th time).
